WINTER FISHING REPORT
Well here it is the beginning of winter time fishing in Key West. If you can call it winter. Today was 80 degrees and sunny. This past week has really provided some great action. This morning we were all over Christmas Tarpon. I mean nonstop fish. We pulled into one of my spots and all you could see were rolling and tailing fish. We had the place to our selves, not another boat anywhere. What a beautiful spot and miles from Key West. I leave out early and cover the ground. This morning paid off. We hooked 4 Tarpon got 2 to the boat. They were mixed in with big Jacks, Pompano, Blue Fish and even a few Bones. Me, I like to get away from other boats and travel to the most beautiful places. I have all the gear and licenses. All you need to bring is what ever you care to eat and drink.
I have a 18.5 Master Angler Maverick with a new 175 Suzuki. This boat handles waves and runs in water you’d think you’d need a air boat. Its dry and stable and can accommodate 3 people. I have top of the line custom gear and 48 years experience fishing the keys. I fish fly and spin and have everything for a days fishing. I am a one boat one Captain operation. When you hire a guide this is what to look for.
Its always good to book ahead and not wait till the last minute. Winter time fishing provides some great action. Best numbers are Cell #305 744 8985 Home #305 296 9794.
See you on the flats
